Native to southwestern Texas in the United Sates, Central America, Mexico, South America and the Caribbean, Damiana is a relatively small shrub that produces small, aromatic flowers. Widely used in herbal medicine.
Latin name: (Genus) Turnera; (Species) T. diffusa
To make a tea: Pour 1 cup boiling water onto 1 teaspoonful of herb, allow to leave to infuse for 10-15 minutes before drinking. Drink up to 3 times a day.
