Most mayonnaise is made with rapeseed or sunflower oil — refined seed oils with a high omega-6 to omega-3 ratio. Hunter & Gather use 80% avocado oil instead: a naturally high in oleic acid (the same monounsaturated fat as olive oil), with a mild, buttery flavour that gives this mayo a noticeably richer, cleaner taste.
Free-range egg yolk (9%) provides the emulsification and richness; apple cider vinegar gives the characteristic mayo tang; garlic (3%) adds a gentle savoury depth. No rapeseed oil, no sunflower oil, no canola oil — entirely seed oil free.

Serving suggestion: As a standard mayo on any application — sandwiches, potato salad, coleslaw, aioli (stir in extra garlic), as a dip base for herbs and hot sauce. The avocado oil flavour enhances rather than distracts.
