Fresh goat's cheese from small organic herds — mild, creamy and gently tangy in the way that properly made chèvre should be. Bergerie use pasteurised organic goat's milk with selected live lactic cultures and rennet, keeping the recipe traditional and the ingredient list short.
At 1% salt, it's gently seasoned without being overpowering. The live cultures give it the characteristic light acidity that makes goat's cheese so versatile — it works as readily in cooking as it does eaten straight from the packet.

Serving suggestion: Crumble over salads and roasted vegetables, spread on sourdough with honey and walnuts, or bake into a tart. Pairs beautifully with beetroot, figs and roasted red peppers.
