Mastic gum (Pistacia lentiscus) from the greek island of Chios has been chewed by peoples of the eastern Mediterranean for centuries. Mastic Gum contributes to the gastro-intestinal system. We have micronized the gum so that it is now available as a supplement in a capsule which can simply be swallowed. It does not need to be chewed. Bionutri Micronised Mastic Gum Plus also incorporates Licorice (Glycyrriza glabra), Aniseed (Pimpinella anisum), and Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare).
