Bitter, astringent and historically significant — white willow bark is the original source of salicin, the compound that led to the development of aspirin. A traditional herb used across cultures for thousands of years, it makes a distinctly bitter, tannic herbal tea.
Packed by us at Earthfare and sourced from Organic Herb Trading. Certified organic, single herb, nothing added. Steep 1 teaspoon in freshly boiled water for 10–15 minutes. Not recommended alongside aspirin or for those with salicylate sensitivity.
