Intensely bitter, strongly aromatic and not for the faint-hearted — wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) is one of the most bitter plants in the herbal world, famously the key ingredient in absinthe. Used in small amounts as a digestive bitter in European herbal traditions for centuries.
Packed by us at Earthfare and sourced from Organic Herb Trading. Certified organic, single herb. Use sparingly — no more than 1/4 teaspoon in freshly boiled water for 5 minutes. Not for prolonged use. Not suitable during pregnancy.
