Ecoleaf by Suma makes toilet tissue entirely from 100% recycled paper — no virgin tree pulp, no unnecessary processing. Every roll uses paper that would otherwise have been discarded, rather than trees that would otherwise be standing.
The difference between recycled and virgin paper tissue is invisible in use — Ecoleaf is soft, strong and performs exactly as you'd expect — but the environmental difference is meaningful. Manufacturing recycled tissue uses significantly less water and energy than virgin paper production, and it eliminates the need to source wood pulp from managed or ancient forests.
