Rice flour is one of the most versatile gluten-free baking flours available — mild in flavour, fine in texture, and highly adaptable across sweet and savoury baking. FREEE by Doves Farm's rice flour is a blend of white and brown rice, giving a balance between the neutral flavour of white rice and the slightly higher fibre content of brown rice.
Works well in cakes, biscuits, thickening sauces, coating for frying, and as part of a gluten-free flour blend. The neutral flavour means it won't overpower delicate recipes the way stronger gluten-free flours (buckwheat, teff) sometimes can.
Gluten free. Vegan. No artificial additives.
How to use: Use as a 1:1 swap for plain wheat flour in most biscuit recipes. For cakes and breads, blend with a starch (tapioca or potato starch) for better texture. Also excellent for thickening sauces and gravies.
