Friendly Soap make their shampoo bars in small batches in Keighley, Yorkshire — and the fragrance-free version is their most thoughtful: designed for sensitive scalps, reactive skin and anyone who wants to avoid fragrance entirely.
The formula uses saponified coconut oil (sodium cocoate), rapeseed oil (sodium rapeseedate) and castor oil (sodium castorate) as the cleansing base — a combination that creates a rich, conditioning lather without stripping. Argan oil (Argania spinosa kernel oil) adds extra moisture and shine. No synthetic fragrances, no SLS, no parabens, no palm oil, no plastic packaging.

How to use: Wet hair thoroughly, rub the bar directly onto hair or lather in your hands first, then massage through. Rinse thoroughly. A transition period of 1–3 weeks is normal as your scalp adjusts from conventional shampoo — worth persisting through.
