Cut comb honey is honey in its most natural and unprocessed form — the entire honeycomb, comb and all, cut directly from the frame. Hilltop Honey's acacia cut comb uses honey from black locust (robinia) flowers, which is marketed as 'acacia' honey throughout Europe. It's one of the most distinctive honeys available: exceptionally light in colour, delicately floral, very mildly sweet and almost syrupy in viscosity.

Acacia honey is one of the slowest honeys to crystallise — its high fructose to glucose ratio keeps it liquid for months or even years, while most other honeys set within weeks. The comb itself is edible — the beeswax can be chewed alongside the honey, or the entire piece placed on a cheese board.

Raw. Unfiltered. No added ingredients.

Serving suggestion: On sourdough toast with good butter, spread over a cheeseboard, drizzled over yogurt with walnuts, or placed whole on the cheese board as a centrepiece.
