Classic custard powder — cornflour, natural colour and natural vanilla flavouring — made without artificial colours or flavours. Just Wholefoods use annatto (from the achiote tree) and curcumin (from turmeric) to achieve the characteristic golden-yellow colour, and natural vanilla flavouring rather than synthetic vanillin.
The result is a custard powder that performs identically to conventional alternatives — thickening reliably with hot milk and setting to the familiar smooth, vanilla-scented custard — but with ingredients you can feel comfortable about. Vegan when made with plant-based milk.

How to use: Mix 1–2 tablespoons per 250ml of milk with sugar to taste, heat gently while stirring until thickened. Works with oat, soya, almond or dairy milk.
