Lamberts Zincatest 100ml

Lamberts Zincatest is a liquid zinc supplement — 15mg of zinc per 5ml spoonful as zinc sulphate solution — ideal for those who find tablets or capsules difficult to swallow. Up to one in three UK adults receives less than the Reference Nutrient Intake for zinc. Zinc contributes to normal immune function, normal skin, and protection of cells from oxidative stress.

Zincatest has a dual use: as a daily zinc supplement, or as a non-invasive taste test to indicate zinc status. The taste sensation when the diluted solution is held in the mouth for 10 seconds gives an indication — tasteless like water suggests low status; a strong immediate taste suggests positive status. Results indicating responses 1 or 2 (low or marginally low) suggest supplementation for 3 to 6 months.

Suitable for vegetarians. Gluten free. No cautions at recommended dosage.

How to use: As a supplement: take one 5ml spoonful daily, diluted in water or orange juice if preferred. As a taste test: add 5ml to 60ml water; hold one 5ml of the diluted mixture in the mouth for 10 seconds. Store in a cool dry place away from light.
