Naturli' are a Danish organic food company with a particularly serious approach to vegan butter — their organic spread uses a blend of four plant-based fats: organic rapeseed oil (39%) as the base, organic coconut oil (22%) for richness and firmness, organic shea butter oil (13%) for a smooth, neutral character, and organic almonds (2%) for additional flavour complexity. Salt, emulsifiers and colour (from annatto) round out the formula.
The multi-fat approach is deliberate — different plant fats have different fatty acid profiles, melting points and flavour characteristics. The combination produces a spread that behaves like dairy butter across a wider temperature range and has a more complex, rounded flavour than single-fat alternatives like pure coconut oil or plain rapeseed spread.
