Oatly's crème fraîche alternative is built on a fermented oat base — oats fermented with a starter culture — combined with coconut and rapeseed oils and potato starch for the characteristic thick, slightly soured consistency of crème fraîche. The fermentation provides the tang; the fat combination provides the richness.

It doesn't split when heated, making it practical in warm sauces, soups and curries where you want a rich, slightly acidic dairy note. Thicker than their regular creamy oat.

Vegan. Dairy free. Contains oats.

Serving suggestion: Dolloped on soups, stirred into curries and pasta sauces, served alongside chilli or baked potatoes, or used in dressings where the slight tang of crème fraîche is called for.
