Three ingredients. Saponified olive oil (sodium olivate). Water. Salt. Oliva's original olive oil soap is as simple as soap gets — made in Greece using traditional methods that have been used in the Mediterranean for centuries.
Olive oil soap (Castile soap in its original form) is one of the gentlest cleansing agents available. The saponification process converts olive oil into sodium olivate, which cleanses without stripping the skin's natural lipid barrier the way synthetic surfactants can. It's naturally rich in oleic acid, which is closely matched in composition to the skin's own sebum, making it particularly well tolerated by sensitive and dry skin.
No synthetic additives, no fragrance, no SLS, no parabens. Vegan. Biodegradable.
How to use: As a face, body and hand soap. Create lather in hands or on a washcloth before applying to skin. Can also be used as a shampoo bar for those with dry or sensitive scalps.
