Proper Italian-style grissini made with organic spelt flour and 8.8% organic extra virgin olive oil — an unusually generous proportion of oil that gives these breadsticks a genuinely rich, buttery crunch and a slightly richer flavour than standard wheat breadsticks.
Spelt gives a slightly nuttier, more complex character than plain wheat flour — mildly distinctive without being as assertive as rye or wholemeal. The organic certification covers both the spelt and the olive oil.
Certified organic. Vegan. Contains spelt (gluten). Not suitable for coeliacs.
Serving suggestion: Alongside soups and dips, on a cheese or charcuterie board, wrapped in Parma ham, or dunked in Hellenic Sun kalamata pâté.
