100% soluble roasted chicory root — nothing else. The Chicory Co's instant chicory drink is made from chicory root (Cichorium intybus) that is roasted and ground to a soluble powder, producing a warm drink with a rich, earthy, slightly sweet character that bears a genuine resemblance to coffee without a trace of caffeine.
Chicory root contains inulin — a prebiotic fibre that feeds beneficial gut bacteria. When roasted, the inulin caramelises to produce the characteristic dark colour and slightly bitter, coffee-like flavour. It's been used as a coffee substitute in the UK and France for centuries, and remains popular in Europe as both a standalone drink and as an addition to coffee.

How to use: Stir 1–2 teaspoons into hot water or warm milk (dairy or plant-based). Can be drunk black or with milk. Naturally sweet without added sugar — the roasted inulin provides the characteristic sweetness.
