Floradix Liquid Iron Formula has been one of Europe's most trusted iron supplements since its creation in 1952. The formula is built on a 54% aqueous herbal extract from carrot root, nettle leaf, spinach leaf, quitch grass and watercress — plants naturally rich in iron co-factors — combined with fruit juice concentrates (grape, elderberry, orange, blackcurrant, cherry) and ferrous gluconate as the iron source.
The choice of ferrous gluconate over ferrous sulphate is significant: gluconate is considerably gentler on the digestive system, making constipation and stomach upset much less likely. The liquid format and fruit juice base further support gentle absorption.
Iron contributes to normal formation of red blood cells and haemoglobin, normal oxygen transport, the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, and normal immune function.
Please note: this formula contains honey and is not suitable for vegans. For a vegan and yeast-free alternative, see Floravital Yeast-Free Iron.
Free from artificial colours, flavours and preservatives.
How to take: 10ml twice daily before meals. Shake well. Refrigerate after opening and use within 4 weeks.
Important: If you are taking any medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have an underlying health condition, please consult your doctor or a qualified healthcare professional before taking this supplement. Always read the label before use.
