Simply Gentle's organic cotton pleats are made from 100% certified organic cotton — grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers. The pleated cotton format is designed for gentle facial cleansing, eye make-up removal and skincare application — soft enough for sensitive eyes and skin, and free from the synthetic fibres and bleaching chemicals found in conventional cotton wool.
Organic cotton has a naturally softer, more hygienic character than conventional cotton, which is grown with heavy pesticide use and typically bleached with chlorine for whiteness. Simply Gentle's organic pleats are unbleached or processed with minimal chlorine-free methods.
