Strong Roots turn the conventional hash brown into something more interesting — 42% cauliflower combined with 13% potato, potato flakes, sunflower oil, onion and seasoning for a patty that gives you the crispy, satisfying hash brown format with significantly more vegetable content and a lighter, more delicate flavour than all-potato versions.
The cauliflower gives a slightly nutty, slightly sweet character alongside the earthiness of the potato. The corn starch and potato starch coating produces the characteristic crispy exterior that makes a good hash brown satisfying.
Vegan. Contains sulphites (from the potato component). No artificial additives.
How to cook: Fry in a lightly oiled pan from frozen over medium heat for 3–4 minutes each side until golden. Can also be oven-cooked at 200°C for 20 minutes. Pan-frying gives the best crispiness.
