Sunita's light tahini is made from hulled sesame seeds — the outer shell removed to produce a smoother, milder, paler tahini than whole/unhulled varieties. The hulling process reduces bitterness and produces the creamy, mild sesame character that makes this the most universally useful tahini in everyday cooking.
Single ingredient: hulled sesame seeds, ground to a smooth paste. No added oil, no salt, no additives.
Vegan. Single ingredient. Naturally high in calcium (even hulled sesame is a good source), healthy fats and plant protein.
