Grapefruit seed extract (GSE) has been studied for its bioflavonoid and polyphenol content. Derived from the seeds and pulp of grapefruit, it contains a range of bioflavonoids and polyphenols thought to underlie its antimicrobial activity.
It is commonly used in natural health practice for gut health support, gut health support and seasonal infections. Note: grapefruit can interact with some medications — consult a healthcare practitioner if taking prescription drugs.
Take 1 capsule, 1–3 times daily with food. Not recommended during pregnancy. Check interactions if taking prescription medications.
