Weleda's ratanhia mouthwash is a concentrated, alcohol-based oral rinse using two classic herbal gum-health botanicals — commiphora myrrh extract (for its antimicrobial, gum-soothing properties) and kratameria triandra (ratanhia) root extract for astringent gum toning. The formula draws on both European and Ayurvedic herbal traditions for oral health.
Both myrrh and ratanhia have traditional use in supporting gum health, reducing oral inflammation and maintaining a healthy oral environment. The concentrated formula requires significant dilution before use.
No synthetic preservatives. Traditional botanical formula.
How to use: Dilute 10–20 drops in a glass of warm water and rinse for 1–2 minutes. Do not swallow. Use after brushing teeth. The concentrated myrrh flavour is distinctive — add less if you find it too intense initially.
